Abstract

I will discuss a formula for the large-N limit of Wilson loop expectations in lattice Yang-Mills in terms of weighted sums over planar maps. This gives an alternative formula to Chatterjee's string trajectories, and is inspired by recent work of Cao-Park-Sheffield which gave a surface-sum formula for finite-N Wilson loop expectations.

Note

The talk will be about 50 minutes. The remainder of the two hours is intended for questions/discussion.
